Hello everyone! My name is Marián Kohn. I have been teaching languages for over nine years. I have wide experience teaching Slovak as a foreign language.
I can teach you how to communicate in Slovak in everyday situations, how to understand the grammar of Slovak, explain you some facts from our history, traditions, customs, etc.
My foreign students have been an English IT manager engaged to a Slovak lady, an American retired pensioner having the Slovak origin and ancestors who came to Slovakia to discover and explore the country of his forefathers, a university student from Latin America, as well as an Egyptian man getting married to a Slovak woman.
I studied theology and classic languages at Comenius University in Bratislava. I also hold a certificate in English language from the State Language School in Bratislava and I keep on improving my teaching skills and abilities to provide you with as best and efficient Slovak lessons as possible.
I love my work – teaching languages, learning new things, reading, meeting new interesting and inspiring people, blogging and hiking.
I am a native Slovak – Slovak is my mother tongue. I have experience with communication within an international and multicultural community. I also adapt my lessons to the specific needs of my clients – I will not teach you things which are not necessary or needed for your communication in Slovak. I am a patient teacher and make friends easily. I come on time and I am flexible.
You can contact me by emailing to firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 0902 204 754 (when calling from abroad, please dial): 00 421 902 204 754.
I'm looking forward to our collaboration.
